Hey, my name is Kaila and my boyfriends name is Jacob. I was wondering if I could have some guidance on our relationship. If you can help thank you. (:

I pulled two cards for you— a negative and a positive aspect of the relationship. What came up was interesting.

I don’t know if you know much about card meanings, but get this: I got the 10 of Swords and The Sun, respectively.

The 10 of Swords is generally seen as a pretty negative card. Most decks depict a person with ten swords sticking out of their body and a puddle of blood underneath them. Kind of… morbid. It represents a “bad end to a bad situation”. It speaks a lot about pain, betrayal, loss, endings, and the necessity of starting anew. It’s a “rock bottom” type of situation. More specifically, this card can represent really awful things such as violence and abuse in a relationship— but, there are other possible meanings. The character on the card is obviously beyond the point of exhaustion. He’s fought hard and is (or at least feels) defeated. In a relationship reading, this card CAN indicate that one partner is struggling with something of a personal nature of which the other may or may not be aware. If one person seems distant or like they’re acting weird, you may need to ask some questions to get to the bottom of things.

The Sun Card, on the other hand, is a WONDERFUL card to pull in almost any type of reading. It represents joyousness, fun, abundance, success and wholeness. It also points to a good sex life. While the Moon represents secrets and what is hidden, the Sun takes an opposite meaning; what IS known, what IS becoming clear. A positive message this card conveys that really makes the previous card seem a little less harsh: the Sun card often means that misunderstandings between lovers will soon be sorted out. If there is something right now in the relationship that seems unclear and troublesome, this card tells you to embrace the confident and positive energy of the Sun and quit worrying. Problems will clear up, just like the Sun always returns eventually (even when it’s been raining for days).

Hope this helps! Let me know what you think!
